What Is It:
Revenge Bedtime Procrastination is the tendency for some to use early mornings or late nights to complete fun activities, hobbies, or watch entertainment. Although negative consequences may become evident, they often have difficulty understanding the root cause and adjusting their behavior.
In most cases, the root causes of revenge bed-time procrastination are:
Feeling burdened by responsibilities
Lack of hobbies or entertainment at other times of the day
Feeling overworked
The need for more self- care practices throughout the week
Health Implications:
Revenge Bedtime Procrastination can cause an increase in exhaustion, irritability, and a decrease in concentration and work/ academic performance.
